New Zealand’s first Maori owned winery is an exciting client to work with. We began working on their overarching strategy with then CEO Rachel Tuleilei for their Tohu brand which needed to evolve to include a pathway for multiple tiers based on their understanding of both their wines, their markets and their audiences.

Tohu Manaaki range is seen in many supermarkets across New Zealand. We evolved the visual expression of this range, rewriting the narrative and its positioning while adding the new Whenua range. Elevating the brand to a new level of wine drinker. Today, we help them activate the brands in the market as well as helping the sales team with channel resources. We have also worked on wines for their international markets, including an exclusive brand for Trader Joes in California as well as an overarching architecture for the wine category.

Working with Saedi was a delight. Helen and Victoria’s invaluable experience, deep empathy and sheer talent shone through as we worked steadfastly to elevate our brands both domestically and internationally. Saedi were more than partners in strategy and design. They were trusted advisors who provided us with a framework for excellence and success.
